Katherine’s Exploration of Engineering
As a 16 year old aspiring mechanical engineer, this blog documents my achievements, struggles, and new experiences through my study of the engineering world.
My goal is to essentially create an engineering notebook and blog/vlog my trials and errors through different projects or lessons. I will pursue ideas, concepts, or projects that genuinely interest me, ranging from simple to more complicated builds.
My vlogs will focus on the real process of trial and errors with minimal editing, little to no scripting (very obvious if you watch my videos), and an honest look at both my mistakes and successes. I don’t expect perfection in my work, which is why this blog focuses on improving through experience and discovery.

Taking Apart and Rebuilding My Record Player
I was bored one day so I thought it’d be fun to take apart my record player since it looked fun + one speaker was malfunctioning. This honestly felt like working with LEGO which I enjoyed. This is not an insane or super complicated project, but I thought it’d be fun to vlog my process! I discovered that I like these type of projects and hope to find more machinery to take apart?! 🤔🤔
